Notting Hill Case Study

Notting Hill and The Iron Lady comparisons

Both are set and shot in England

Both contain one American leading actor and English

Both were written and directed by British people

Both grossed a very similar amount in the opening weekend (£138 for The Iron Lady and £152 for Notting Hill)

  

Both posters are simple
and catch the readers eye. The
Marketing team are making the
most of having a-list celebrities
in the film as they are the main feature (focal point) of the poster.


When looked at in detail, both posters appear to have many similarities.
